These live centers are intended for quick and simple clamping of work pieces with holes of large dimension, which can not be clamped by normal type centers. The rotating part of the live center is terminated with a 1:10 taper, to which a tapered clamping insert with a point angle of 60°or 90° is fitted as required.

Live centers with Interchangeable Points
The centers with interchangeable points are intended for work on lathes. Their design allows for universal use in various on-off production programs. It is possible to clamp workpieces in 60 work center parts without drilled pit by the inside diameter,etc. The live part of the center is ended by the taper bore into which various points (a-g) shaped can be put as required.
